tetesept® Baby Tummy Relax Drops, 20 ml

The Baby Tummy drops by tetesept is suitable for babies starting on day 1 after birth. The drops are based on simeticone (40 mg/0.6 ml) in a natural oil emulsion. The formula is vegan and free from added sugar and gluten.

Recommended dosage:

• Babies & toddlers (0 - 1 year): 1-2x daily 20 drops (or as advised by a doctor), diluted with liquid if necessary, preferably after meals.
• Children (1 - 12 years): 20 drops 1-3x daily (or as advised by a doctor), diluted with liquid if desired, preferably after meals.
• Children & adults (12 years & older): 2-4x daily 20 - 40 drops (or as advised by a doctor), diluted with liquid if desired, preferably after meals.

Note:

• The simeticone content is 40 mg in 0.6 ml solution. Single dose: 20 drops (= 0.6ml).
• The product may separate into two layers. Shake it well to make a homogeneous emulsion.
• Use it up within 30 days of opening.
• If there is no improvement after 7 days, please consult a doctor.
• Discontinue use in case of side effects and consult a doctor.
• Do not use if intestinal or ileal perforation is suspected.
• Store at a temperature of 5°C - 25°C.
• Do not use after the expiry date.

Interactions:

• In case of treatment with levothyroxine or carbamazepine based medication, use this product only after consulting your doctor.
• Simeticone is not recommended for use with the following: Mineral oil-based laxatives (paraffin), cefradine, gliclazide, cimetidine, ranitidine, quinidine, cefuroxime, phenytoin, antiplatelet or anticoagulant medicines such as warfarin or acetylsalicylic acid.
