Learning towers & step stools for safe exploration

Frequently asked questions about learning towers and step stools

What are the benefits of learning towers for my toddler?
A learning tower safely raises your toddler to a comfortable height, allowing them to join in with everyday activities. It encourages independence and helps develop motor skills. Your toddler can also get involved in baking and cooking in the kitchen.

Why should I choose wooden models for my toddler?
Wooden learning towers and step stools are sturdy, stable and built to last. Brands such as Maxi-Cosi, Hauck, small foot and Ehrenkind use high-quality wood that can withstand everyday use. Most models also feature adjustable heights.

How do step stools support my toddler’s development?
A step stool helps your toddler reach the sink or worktop more easily, allowing them to wash their hands independently. These small everyday achievements build confidence and encourage your toddler to try new tasks.

From what age can my toddler use a learning tower?
Your toddler can start using a learning tower once they can stand steadily without assistance. Being able to stand securely is essential for safe use. Always supervise your toddler closely, especially when they are first getting used to the learning tower.

How can I use a step stool safely in everyday life?
Always place the step stool on a flat, non-slip surface and make sure the floor around the washbasin is dry. This helps provide your toddler with a stable footing during their daily hygiene routine.
